What were you doing on New Years Eve during your sophomore year of college? Brian Stelter was launching Cablenewser.com, a blog which within months became the web’s most influential source for information about TV news.
What would you do for a second act? Stelter signed on with The New York Times weeks after graduation and from 18th floor of the new Times building he describes his unique journey from media outsider to reporter at “the best venue in America for journalism.”
Stelter also gives his take on the changing media landscape. “Television, at least in the way my generation is consuming it, is becoming an online platform,” he says.
